RFID lift access at Discovery means fewer lines and more runs.
RFID technology replaces paper tickets and wickets with a scannable and reusable Discovery Lift Card that you simply carry in your pocket as you enter chairlift gates. So, you just drive up and head up top.
Here’s how they work:
BUY
Purchase or reload your Discovery Lift Card anytime online to get our best rates.
1. Log in or create an account.
2. Pick your ski day(s) and add them to your cart.
3. Assign a skier / boarder to each ticket or card.
4. Select one:
- Connect the skipass to a RFID keycard that I’ve already registered to my account.
- Register a new RFID keycard from Skidata to my account.
- Buy a new RFID keycard and pick it up at the resort (5.00).
5. Select the person this product will be used for. You can add a new member by selecting “Add New +”
6. Agree to the terms and conditions
7. Repeat for every member of your party.
8. Check out.
PICK UP
If you opted for a new keycard, after arriving at Discovery, locate our Ticket Kiosks in front of the lodge. Use a kiosk scanner to scan the QR code at the bottom of your purchase confirmation email. The kiosk will print your keycard with your lift ticket or season pass loaded and ready to use.
If you loaded an existing keycard, your ticket is already on the keycard, and you are ready for the lifts.
WEAR
Carry your Discovery Lift Card on your left side, in a pocket of your coat or pants. Choose a pocket above your knees and below your shoulders. Make sure to carry your card in a pocket by itself — without a wallet, cellphone, credit cards or other items. Carry the valid keycard in your pockets, leave any extras in the car or with your gear.
ENTER
Head straight to the lift. As you approach the gates, they will open automatically. There’s no need to present your card or have it visible.
REUSE
Keep your keycard all this season. And hang on to it for next year too. You can load more ski days or a season pass on your existing Discovery Lift Card.
There is a $5 replacement fee if you lose or damage your card. Make sure to not punch holes or otherwise alter your card — the chairlift gates will not open for damaged cards. Lost, stolen or damaged cards should be reported to the Ticket Office immediately!
